Meet Becky

Hi, I’m Becky, and I’ve been part of the team at Distinctive Dentistry for the past five years as a Dental Nurse. From the very beginning of my career, I’ve loved being able to support patients through their dental journey and help create a positive experience every time they visit us.

Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience working alongside our clinicians in a wide range of treatments, with a particular passion for dental implant nursing. I enjoy being involved in every stage of implant treatment, from preparing for procedures to supporting patients throughout their appointments and recovery. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the transformation in our patients’ confidence and quality of life after treatment.

I’m currently working towards my Oral Health Educator qualification, which I’m really excited about. Good oral health is the foundation of a healthy smile, and I look forward to helping patients better understand how to care for their teeth and gums. Whether it’s sharing practical advice on brushing and flossing techniques, discussing the impact of diet on oral health, or offering guidance tailored to individual needs, I hope to empower patients to feel confident in looking after their smiles between visits.

I also have a special interest in supporting nervous patients. I understand that many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist, whether due to previous experiences or simply a fear of dental treatment. I believe that kindness, patience and clear communication can make all the difference, so I always aim to create a calm and reassuring environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and know they’re in safe hands. Seeing someone leave with a smile after arriving feeling anxious is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

One of the things I love most about working at Distinctive Dentistry is being part of such a friendly, supportive team that genuinely cares about every patient. We work together to provide high-quality care while making every visit as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. It’s wonderful to be part of a practice where patient comfort and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy staying active and currently play for a local netball team. Being part of a team, whether on the court or in the practice, has taught me the importance of communication, trust and supporting those around you. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends and making the most of my free time.

I feel incredibly lucky to work in a profession where I can make a positive difference to people’s lives every day. Whether you’re visiting us for routine dental care, dental implants or you’re feeling a little nervous about your appointment, I’ll always do my best to make you feel welcome, comfortable and well cared for.

I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to Distinctive Dentistry!
